FixMate Remodeling is based around Anaheim and North Orange County. We take interior and exterior house painting, roof leak repair, roof replacement, siding repair and siding installs, gutter work, the general repairs that pile up on a house or a small rental: drywall, doors, trim, and punch lists, and junk removal when a garage, unit, or remodel pile needs to be hauled away.
The process is the same whether you own the house or manage a few units. You call or text. We walk the job. You get a written report and two quotes before anyone picks up a tool.
The choice most people feel stuck with
Picking a contractor usually comes down to budget and quality of work. A lot of owners feel like they have to give one of those up.
The well established companies have real work behind the contract. They talk about long warranties and they have people whose job is customer support. For an exterior paint job, a roof leak, a full roof replacement, or even a small repair, that looks like the safe pick. Then the price shows up.
So people look for a smaller local contractor. The number comes down. The problem is standing. A lot of good local crews never built much of an online presence. One rough review sits on top of the page. Larger outfits hide that with marketing teams and a steady stream of review requests. That is not the same thing as better work. It just photographs better.

How a job starts
Inspection is free. You get a written report and two quotes. One is the budget version: contain the leak, patch the siding, paint what is failing. The other is the longer term version, often a full roof replacement or a complete exterior paint. You pick. We do not bury the cheaper option.
We do not ask for a deposit to get on the calendar. Half is due when we start. The rest is due after you walk the job and approve it. That applies to painting, roofing, siding, and general repairs, including the larger projects.
